Jesus told us, His disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our community, and spread abroad to every nation.
Evangelism
While we carry out a number of ministry programs throughout the year, our primary ministry is Evangelism. We believe in reaching out to the community and spreading the Gospel to all nations. We invite all to come as we share the love of Christ abroad.
Nursing Home
The mission of the Nursing Home Ministry enables the lay people and ministers of Zoar Tabernacle Ministries to gain knowledge and communication skills in dealing with the aged. Communication, understanding, and patiently establishing a great relationship with patients and staff.
Women’s Ministry
The goal of the women’s ministry is for all women to learn from now on that every road they travel will take them to God. They will learn to follow the covenant sign and to read the charted direction coming from the word of God. Sometimes in life there are many destinations that take our attention away from God. In life things will pull on our time and identity. This ministry will help women to remember that they are on a journey to the heart of God and to place themselves in his hand.
Men’s Ministry
The objective of the men’s ministry is to have men come together in unity to discuss and to receive spiritual guidance on topics and issues that concern the Godly man. They will touch areas of the heart where sensitivity is embraced by fellowship and loving one another that relate to the trials and the tribulations that they go through as Christian men. The outcome is predicted to be that men will become better Godly men and better husbands.
Prayer Team
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Every Wednesday, the church come together for a special time of prayer and Bible Study. In addition to Wednesday prayer, every Friday our Prayer Warriors come together on a prayer conference to stand in the gap for people and lift their needs up to God through prayer.
Youth Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of our class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry plans events such as community activities, youth picnics, and holiday programs each year. Children also participate every fifth Sunday in which they learn how to carry out our worship service for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
