Apostle Sadie Mickle, Pastor

Pastor Sadie Mickle is married to Trustee Booker T. Mickle. Pastor Mickle went to school to become a Special Education Teacher and later became a sponsor for the State of New Jersey caring for mental disabled clients for 17 years.

Pastor Mickle started her spiritual walk with God at Rose of Sharon Community Church of Plainfield, NJ. There she held many positions under the late Dr. Everett Lattimore, such as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, Spiritual Advisor to the Missionary Society, and was ordained as an Evangelist in 1984.
Pastor Mickle attended Bowles Bible Institute under Bishop Carey C. Bowles and was trained and ordained in Pastoral Ministries, and finally received a Master and Honorary Doctorate. She later took classes at Philadelphia College of Bible in Liberty Corner, NJ. She was led by the Lord to become a full-time pastor in the Ministry. Future plans will include further biblical studies.
In 1990, God lead Pastor Mickle to Faith Temple Herald of Truth Church in Newark and Elizabeth, NJ under Rev. Dr. Bernice Jackson. She worked with the ministerial staff that consisted of visiting the sick, and participating in street ministries. Pastor Mickle also served as chair lady for the fund raising African project.
Under the direction of God, Pastor Mickle established Zoar Tabernacle Ministries in 1994 and started a church in Linden, New Jersey.
In 1998, Pastor Mickle received an Associate Degree in Chemical Dependency. She then opened the New Reality Counseling Center-1 in the Bayway Community Center, Elizabeth NJ. The mission of the New Reality Counseling Center-1 is to educate and equip persons with knowledge, skills, and techniques to become effective counselors and mentors.
Pastor Mickle was installed as Overseer on May 16, 2004 under the direction of Overseer Porter S. Brown, Pastor of Full Gospel-Faith Baptist Tabernacle of Asbury Park, NJ.
Pastor Mickle has seen the glory of God in part. She patiently waits for God’s complete glory to be revealed through Sunrise Adult Daycare and ministries that will soon come under Zoar or ZTM umbrella.
In 2009, God led Pastor Mickle to purchase a church in La Grange, North Carolina. This church has become the second church under Zoar Tabernacle Ministries.
Pastor Mickle was consecrated as an Apostle in June of 2013 under the direction of Apostle Irene Glover of Florida. This same year God directed Pastor Mickle to go to Austin, Texas to once again establish another church.
Pastor Mickle has established a total of three churches and continues to wait on God as the ministry grows.
In 2018 Apostle Mickle became an author writing her first book entitled, “Things are Not like they seem 7 Ways To Handle Opposition In Ministry” which was a #1 NEW RELEASE in Clergy book on Amazon. Since publishing her book on January 12, 2018, Apostle had her first book signing at Half Price Books in Round Rock, Texas on March 3, 2018. She was also a featured guest on BlessHands 4U Outreach Radio Ministry’s Segment of “Author’s Exposed”, that aired on April 26, 2018.
